SAINT-HUBERT DUPLEX
In this duplex on rue Saint-Hubert, the objective was to create a spacious entrance and maximize the amount of light in the living rooms by decompartmentalizing them. The relocating of the staircase, originally accessible from the kitchen, was an important element of the project, allowing a better layout and offering the possibility of enlarging the bathroom on the ground floor by recovering the space of the skylight.
By fitting out the bedrooms in the basement, the ground floor becomes a flexible, bright and friendly space for the whole family. The owners thus have their private space, in the basement, with two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a small office, while retaining a garage.

Construction work summary:
- Demolition and reconstruction of the concrete slab in the basement;
- Complete replacement of the plumbing and electrical systems;
- Complete renovation of the bathroom, kitchen and living area, including installation of a new beam and new siding;
- Replacement of several windows;
- Construction of a new staircase;
- Complete remodeling of the basement.
